Our New Blog Website

Obviously you've already realized we have a new site (how else would you be reading this?), but yeah, I was fairly dissapointed with our old blog site, so I wrote us up a completely new one. Biweekly announcements will be posted here from now on, and I'll probably write some devblogs as well when I feel like it. Maybe some other staff will write stuff as well, who knows.

Trialmin Promotions

Wachtel, lehmin, BrizbyMouse, HorsePuncher, Cyg, and Timfa have all been promoted from trialmin to game admin. Expect applications to reopen soon.

New Metashield

There has been an update on the metashield regarding Nukies, Zombies & their infections, and Deathsquad.

Revealing causes for Nukies

• Discovering a nukie shuttle
• A nukie name
• Warops announcement
• Being a nukie ^ Nukies are also considered Syndicate Propaganda, and crew isn't informed on nukies at all. Posters seen on the station are ignored.

Zombies

Zombies are now known as fiction, and can be mentioned in fiction settings such as "Hey Urist, comic book #9 had zombies in it!" . Nuclear Operatives & Syndicates know what zombies are and that they are real - due to the romerol in their uplink, but should not mention it. Revealing causes for Zombies;

• You are a nukie
• You are a syndi
• You are a Zombie
• You have seen Zombies on the station (This also includes the auto-announcement)

Infections

A cure was made for zombies in the past, and Chemists/CMO's know the cure, as a sign to show how long your family has been in the field. Revealing conditions to infections shield;

• You are a Chemist
• You are the CMO
• Zombies are announced to be real and station-wide (the auto-announcement, or a player announcing it!)

Deathsquad

Deathsquad is known to exist but not as a killsquad, as an elite team sent to handle extreme threats. the Nanotrasen Representative and Blueshield Officer know the truth behind Deathsquad, and can mention it as a Janitor Squad if they ever wish to refer to it between themselves - never to normal crew. Revealing Conditions to the deathsquad shield:

• Code Omicron is called.
• Code Epsilon is called
• You are the NTR
• You are the BSO
• A central Command Official (Non-NTR/BSO) mentions Deathsquad as a Killsquad

New Features

Tech Tree

Science's research console finally got a long overdue overhual. Instead of praying to the RNG gods every single time you want a specific research, you can now just follow the tech tree.

Enchanting

Everyone's favorite minecraft feature is here, and it's busted as hell. We've already got some nerfs and balancing ready, but a certain bitch ass already abused them to hell and back.

Holocigar

It turns you into Big Boss, need I say more.
